BSRM Tree Plantation
At BSRM, we integrate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into every aspect of our business processes, with a strong focus on compliance and environmental sustainability. As part of our commitment, we are launching the BSRM Tree Plantation Program (BTP), which aims to utilize all available land and spaces owned by BSRM for plantation and cultivation. This initiative includes existing trees, ponds, farms, and gardens, starting with plantations along the boundary walls of our facilities.
Sustainability and Community Impact BTP is designed to be a sustainable project, generating revenue and creating employment opportunities, while supporting BSRM’s CSR and philanthropic programs. Through this initiative, we will grow organic fruits, vegetables, fish, and other farm produce, offering them to BSRM employees at fair prices. Each location will independently manage the sale and distribution of these products.
Support for Social Enterprise BTP also supports “Brikkho,” a social enterprise focused on environmental stewardship. Our efforts have already made an impact, with the donation of 200 young trees to the Korean Export Processing Zone (KEPZ) in Chattogram and the planting of 6,000 trees in 30 schools across Mirsharai and Sitakunda. These contributions enhance the environment by increasing greenery and fostering a closer connection with nature in these communities.
Through the BSRM Tree Plantation Program, we are dedicated to building a greener future for our people and the planet.
