The Padma Bridge, a multipurpose road-rail bridge across the Padma River, is being constructed in Bangladesh. When completed, it will be the largest bridge in Bangladesh and the first fixed river crossing for road traffic. It will connect Louhajong, Munshiganj to Shariatpur and Madaripur, linking the south-west of the country, to northern and eastern regions.

BSRM is the supplier of steel in this project and the only company to produce 50 mm Rod for Padma Bridge.

Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant is an under-construction 2.4 GWe nuclear power plant in Bangladesh. The nuclear power plant is being constructed at Rooppur (Rupppur), adjoining Paksey, in the Ishwardi Upazila of Pabna District, on the bank of the river Padma, 87 miles (140 km) west of Dhaka, in the northwest of the country. It will be the country’s first nuclear power plant, and the first of two units are expected to go into operation in 2023. It is being built by the Russian Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation.The proud steel supplier of this project is BSRM.

Bangabandhu Tunnel is the first under-construction underwater expressway tunnel in the port city of Chittagong, Bangladesh under the Karnaphuli river. The tunnel length is 3.4 kilometres (2.1 mi) and width 10 metres (33 ft). The tunnel is expected to be completed in 2020. The tunnel will be the first of its kind in Bangladesh and is expected to improve the Dhaka -Chittagong -Cox’s Bazar highway network. A Chinese company was selected to construct it. Chinese President Xi Jinping is set to visit the construction site of the Karnaphuli Tunnel.

The construction of Kalna Bridge filled up the last missing link of Asian Highway-1 route and cut the distance between Dhaka and Jashore significantly. The length of the bridge is 690 meters and the width is 27.1 meters. The six-lane connecting road on both sides is about 4 and half kilometers.

Special Works Organization (SWO), Bangladesh Army, LGED & Dhaka WASA jointly constructed the 8.8Km express road along with service roads & bridges in Hatirjheel and Begunbari Khal, Dhaka. This mega project has BSRM Xtreme inside.

The 1 KM long country’s first cable-stayed bridge over the Karnaphuli river, Chittagong connects the port city to the tourist resort of Cox’s Bazar. This project has BSRM Xtreme inside.

The Moghbazar – Mouchak Flyover has been built to facilitate north-south traffic movement of Dhaka by increasing the traffic carrying capacity of Satrasta, FDC, Moghbazar, Mouchak, Shanti Nagar, Malibag road and Moghbazar, Malibag two rail intersections. The total length of the Flyover will be about 8.25 km.This most successful project is now contributing to reduce the traffic jam of Dhaka. This is another footstep of BSRM in building a safer nation.
