BSRM-Unnayan Sangha Project: Empowering the Hijra Community in Jamalpur
This project, in partnership with Unnayan Sangha, is dedicated to increasing the sustainable income of 250 Hijras and their families in Jamalpur District. The initiative focuses on reducing discrimination and improving access to essential services such as healthcare, education, and legal support for the Hijra community.
Additionally, the project aims to foster positive social behavior and enhance self-esteem within the community, leading to greater social awareness and a reduction in threatening behaviors.
