Support and Empower the Displaced Landless in the Remote Chars of Sirajgonj District

BSRM partnered with National Development Program (NDP) to support poor people who hardly have any scope or access to avail microfinance for improving their living standards. Through this project, BSRM aims to improve livelihood of the disadvantaged people living in remote Chars of Sirajgonj district through better financial services. The focus area of this project is to ensure access to micro-credit services, to reduce dependency of the char dwellers on the local money lenders that usually charge higher interest and to provide friendly customized model of micro-finance. BSRM will provide interest free loan to scale up NDP’s capacity. The project will facilitate about 1, 050 households or lives of about 5, 000 people including school going children
